In recent years, algebraic geometry has developed vigorously in China, the research team of algebraic geometry has been growing continuously. In order to promote further understanding, communication and cooperation among the colleagues, the Center decided to hold the first National Conference on algebraic geometry in Beijing at the institute of mathematics and systems science, Chinese Academy of Sciences on July 3nd-7th, 2017. There are 17 one-hour invited reports and 6 half-hour reports
